Issuance of Official & Tax Exemption Receipts

Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia) has, on 30 January 2020, revised the guidelines for Approval of Director General of Inland Revenue under Subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967, bringing it up to date with current legislation and practices. These revised guidelines supersede the version issued on 5 September 2019.

Based on the revised guidelines, donors are required to provide the following complete information to obtain an official or tax-exemption receipt:
